RTB

The council right to buy (RTB) programme was set up by the government in 1980 in order to give long-term council tenants the chance to own their own home. The aim is to help those people who previously haven't been able financially to buy a home, so a discounted home-buying scheme was created. Another advantage is that it encourages stability and has a positive effect within local communities. The RTB scheme is still giving tenants an opportunity to become a home owner and currently many people are taking advantage of the chance to see the property value of your house increase, so ensure you grab the opportunity presented by as well. Qualified RTB mortgage companies can assist you on every step of the way, making the process efficient and less stressful.
